Kelsey Blanco

All Things Considered Local Host

Kelsey is new to the radio waves, but is absolutely loving her time here at WKMS! She holds degrees from New Mexico State University (BME) and Ohio University (MM).  An active performer in both opera and musical theatre, Kelsey has portrayed the title roles in Astor Piazzolla’s María de Buenos Aires and Mozart’s Bastien und Bastienne as well as performed in Fiddler on the Roof (Golde), Ragtime (Evelyn Nesbit), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Rona Lisa Perretti), and the world premiere of We Are Enron (Susan Lucas).

Kelsey has recently added the title of “music director” to her resume in collaboration with Playhouse in the Park, and she maintains a private voice studio. When not singing or teaching or hosting All Things Considered and Marketplace she is at home raising two beautiful blessings.
