Murray State University enrollment for incoming freshman, transfer and graduate students increased for the Fall 2019 semester.
According to a release from the university, enrollment for the incoming freshman class increased by 7.7 percent from last year. The Fall 2018 semester saw a drop in enrollment by nearly 9 percent.
The number of new graduate students and new transfer students also increased from the previous fall by 11.2 percent and 10.2 percent respectively.
The official 2019-20 final enrollment report will not be complete until October.
