Murray State Removes Spring Break From 2021 Calendar

Murray State University is removing spring break from the spring 2021 semester calendar. 

The university was originally scheduled to hold spring break March 15-19. MSU President Bob Jackson in an email to the campus community cited COVID-19 concerns as the reason for the change.

“While we are making great strides on campus to minimize the spread of COVID-19, we have examined the academic calendar for the 2021 Spring Semester for further safety measures,” Jackson said. “Upon review by the University’s leadership, specific adjustments in the academic calendar are warranted.”

The new plan adds an extra week of winter break with classes beginning after Martin Luther King Jr. Day. View the university’s revised spring 2021 below:
