Murray State University To Celebrate December 2018 Commencement Saturday

Murray State University is celebrating December 2018 Commencement Saturday in the CFSB Center. The combined undergraduate and graduate ceremony begins at 10 a.m.

721 pending degrees will be conferred with 19 states and 15 countries represented among December 2018 graduates.

Distinguished Professor Stephen Cobb will serve as ceremonial mace-bearer. Outstanding seniors Emma Cook and George Bittel will lead the candidates for the conferral of degrees. Cook will graduate with a degree in human resource management, while Bittel is graduating with a degree in agricultural business.

Interim President Bob Jackson will preside over the ceremony and deliver welcome messages. Jackson and Provost Mark Arant will administer the presentation of candidates for degrees.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. The ceremony will be streamed live at murraystate.edu/streaming
