TeleTech Receives $100k from McCracken Co. Fiscal Court

The technology based support provider TeleTech will receive $100,000 from the McCracken County Fiscal Court to assist in employee training. Judge Executive Van Newberry says the court will provide support to TeleTech after creating more jobs than originally expected.  

“They’ve actually gone to 614, so that about 164 more jobs than they promised. And, they’ve occurred some extra training costs on that,” Newberry said. “So, they spent more money. So, they came to us and just simply said would you help us on that.”

Newberry says the fiscal court agreed to pay half of the money asked for by Teletech. McCracken County has invested $2.1 in TeleTech to assist in paying for training of new employees.

“Any local company that wants to expand around here, we would be willing to talk to them and possibly assist them on expanding and producing more jobs,” Newberry said.

TeleTech will request support for continued growth from the Paducah City Commission Tuesday night . 

TeleTech provides analytics-driven, technology-enabled customer engagement solutions. The company located a branch in Paducah in a 30,000 square-foot building in the Paducah Commerce Park and will provide services on behalf of a major health insurance company.
