Two Tornadoes Traveled Across Multiple Counties In West KY Last Weekend

The National Weather Service reports multiple tornadoes touched down in west Kentucky last weekend, including two that traveled across multiple counties.

The unseasonable strong storm system produced rainfall totals from two to five inches causing floods and nine tornadoes.

One tornado traveled 10 miles from southern Caldwell County into northern Christian County which damaged multiple buildings and tore down four power poles. Another tornado that started in Caldwell County traveled to the Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park and left hundreds of trees uprooted or snapped.

No injuries were reported during the storm outbreak.
