Ben Bradford is a city kid, who came to Charlotte from San Francisco by way of New York, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles. Prior to his career in journalism, Ben spent time as an actor, stuntman, viral marketer, and press secretary for a Member of Congress. He graduated from UCLA in 2005 with a degree in theater and from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in 2012. As a reporter, his work has been featured on NPR, WNYC, the BBC, and Public Radio International.

Mike Gowen is an instructor in the Nonprofit Leadership Studies program. Originally from Indiana, Mike has lived in Murray for over 30 years. He has two adult children and a granddaughter, Daelynn. In his free time, Mike enjoys anything outdoors, including rock climbing with his granddaughter. He volunteers in numerous community endeavors and is ever grateful for the community of Murray/Calloway County. The local food, art, and music scenes are what Mike thinks make this region truly special. He's grateful for WKMS and the opportunity to share his love for folk, bluegrass, Americana and country music.

After taking a semester off from college to intern with Vermont Public Radio in 1999, Sidsel was hooked. She went on to work as a reporter and producer at WNYC in New York and WAMU in Washington, DC before moving to New Mexico in 2007. As KUNM’s Conservation Beat reporter, Sidsel covered news from around the state having to do with protection of our earth, air and water. She also kept up a blog, earth air waves, filled with all the bits that can’t be crammed into the local broadcast of Morning Edition and All Things Considered. When not interviewing inspiring people (or sheep), Sidsel could be found doing underdogs with her daughters at the park.

Nina Gregory is a senior editor for NPR's Arts Desk, where she oversees coverage of film across the network and edits and and assigns stories on television, art, design, fashion, food, and culture.
