  • Will is a freshman at Murray State from Benton, Kentucky, majoring in English/Philosophy. He is very excited to be a part of the WKMS team.
  • Lois Akpabio is a MSU junior studying Psychology and Social Work. Lois is Phi Theta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society member, as well as a McNair scholar. She balances her studies with a love for music, reading, sharing laughs with friends and family and investing in the community that uplifts her.
  • Laurie Tackett is a freshman at Murray State University with a major in Earth & Environmental Science/Geology with a minor in Nonprofit Leadership Studies. She is a member of the Honors College, Earth & Environmental Science Club, and Racerband. She enjoys music, crocheting, hiking, being with friends, and reading. Laurie is grateful to be at WKMS with all of the other amazing people and staff!
  • Fronteras Senior Field Correspondent Mónica Ortiz Uribe (KRWG, Las Cruces) is a native of El Paso, Texas, where she worked as a freelance reporter prior to joining the Fronteras team. She also anchors segments on KRWG-TV's Fronteras program.
