PACRO Approves Coke Plant Owners for $664K Loan Toward Opening Mellow Mushroom

The Paducah Area Community Reuse Organization (PACRO) has offered an up to $664,000 loan to a Paducah couple who are developing a Mellow Mushroom pizza restaurant to anchor the city’s former Coke plant.

The money comes from PACRO’s revolving loan fund and will be used toPaducah Pizza Bakers, LLC in order to renovate the aging building and purchase equipment for the restaurant.

In a news release issued by PACRO, the building's owners and restaurant developers, Ed and Meagan Musselman, said EntrePaducah, the Murray State Small Business Development Center and the Kentucky Innovation Network were helpful in making the project a reality.

According to PACRO, the project is expected to create between 75 and 100 new jobs.
