Paducah Couple Killed in Double Homicide

McCracken County Sheriff's Dept., via Facebook

McCracken County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the double homicide of a couple in their home just outside Paducah.

Sheriff Jon Hayden says in a release posted on Facebook 73-year-old Gerald Boyes and 67-year-old Billie Potter were found dead Tuesday night after a neighbor went to check on them. Investigators suspect Boyes and Potter are victims of foul play.

Hayden says deputies are not releasing the cause of death at this time. He also declined to comment on potential suspects.

He says investigators found no sign of forced entry into the home. The couple's two dogs were inside and alive when authorities arrived.

Autopsies for both victims are scheduled for this week.
