The international online publication Business Insider has named the "Kentucky Triangle" of Bowling Green, Owensboro, and Paducah as one of the best regions to visit in autumn.

The business site said the region offers beautiful fall foliage and lots of events.

Among the highlights mentioned are Mammoth Cave National Park, farmers' markets, bourbon, barbecue, and fall festivals.

Also on the must-see list is what is probably the world's largest sassafras tree in Owensboro.

Paducah gets a nod from Business Insider for being a "UNESCO Creative City" where visitors can find art and history.
