The IHOP in Paducah suffered major structural damage due to a fire early Thursday morning.
According to a release from the city, the Paducah Fire Department received a call at 4:23 a.m. Crews gained control of the fire by 7:50 a.m. but remained on the scene to monitor hot spots.
Two employees were inside at the time, but were able to escape unharmed and called 911.
The fire department said the fire started in the ceiling and roof line.
The cause is under investigation.
