Purchase Area Development District Executive Director Jennifer Beck Walker is retiring. Walker announced this week that her last day will be December 1st.

Walker said in a letter announcing her retirement, "It has been my absolute pleasure and honor to work at the PADD over the last 3 decades and to serve as its executive director for the last 11 years.”

Walker joined the PADD in 1987 as a summer intern. Prior to becoming executive director, she worked in programs including summer youth employment, community development and human services.

The PADD’s Personnel and Finance Committee will conduct a search to choose the next executive director.
