Murray State University Head Basketball Coach Steve Prohm says sophomore guard Zaveral “Zay” Jackson will be transferring to another school next semester. Jackson pleaded guilty to two wanton endangerment charges a year ago. He was accused of hitting two people with his car in the parking lot of Murray’s Walmart.
More recently, Jackson tore an A-C-L during a practice for this season. After sitting out two seasons, Jackson says he’s looking for a fresh start. Due to his injury, he holds an NCAA redshirt status for the remainder of the season.
