Kentucky Nuclear Energy Development Authority

As the nuclear energy economy continues to accelerate across the United States, lawmakers in Kentucky are weighing a bill that would see the commonwealth invest tens of millions of dollars toward developing sites for reactors.

A bill that would create a grant program designed to advance and attract nuclear energy developments in the Bluegrass State passed out of the Kentucky Senate’s Natural Resources & Energy committee Wednesday.
