This Friday: Johnny Appleseed LIVE on Sounds Good

Nashville-based country and western band Johnny Appleseed will be live in WKMS Studio A for music and conversation in the Noon hour of Sounds Good on Friday, June 20. They're on their way through the area ahead of a performance in St. Louis that evening. We'll hear a set of new music, talk about some classic favorites, and learn about how the band originated around the western swing sound.

Johnny Appleseed aims to capture the sounds and styles of Bob Wills' western swing, Ray Price's big band swing, mixed and delivered to a new audience. Their first EP released earlier this year, featuring three original songs.
