Madisonville-based filmmaker PJ Woodside of Big Biting Pig Productions joins us on Sounds Good ahead of the premiere of their new film "The Caretakers," this Saturday at the Ballard Convention Center. The film tells the story of an aging caretaker for a powerful vampire hunting down a rogue half-breed vampire while training two apprentices. Kate Lochte speaks with Woodside about the locally-produced film.
The premiere is this Saturday (June 28) at the Ballard Convention Center at 605 East Arch St, Madisonville, KY 42431. Tickets are $15 at the door or $12 in advance. Price includes a free DVD copy of the The Caretakers. Doors open at 5:30 PM, movie starts at 7 PM. Food, drinks, merchandise will be available for purchase.
