National Day of Listening Project – Stories of Perseverance

November 28 at Noon

Last year, WKMS set out to record stories from our region to air on the National Day of Listening. This year, we share stories of perseverance, of overcoming challenges you've faced: an illness, a military deployment, an injury, racism or sexism.

(A rundown of stories to air in the special coming soon)

We’ve collected stories from the region and will present selected excerpts in an hour-long special. Participants received an unedited keepsake for their families. After the broadcast, we'll post the audio of the special here.

The program will air on the National Day of Listening November 28th.
