Rebuilding West Liberty, 2 Years After Deadly Tornado

On March 2, 2012, the eastern Kentucky coal town of West Liberty was hit by an EF-3 tornado, which caused extensive damage to its downtown area, destroying homes and businesses, killing six people and injuring 75. Former two-term Kentucky State Treasurer Jonathan Miller joins us on Sounds Good to talk about a project to rebuild the town. (Click through to see videos of the tornado)

"Rebuilding West Liberty" is aimed at reconstructing the town to be a 21st Century model for technology, sustainability and entrepreneurship, announced at the Clinton Global Initative America meeting on June 13 and 14 in Chicago, by Tim Conley the Morgan County Judge-Executive and project consultant Jonathan Miller.
