D.B. Wilson Power Plant to Remain Open
Big Rivers officials say the D.B. Wilson power plant in Centertown, Kentucky won’t be closing its doors anytime soon.
The plant was slated to shut down February 2015. The Coleman facility closed its doors in May.
Company president Bob Berry says a stronger market and new contracts will keep all 100 plus employees onboard for at least the next few years.
The news comes after a difficult year for the provider, including the loss of two major clients with Century Aluminum.
