The Kentucky State Poetry Society (KSPS) conference and annual meeting will take place Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29, 2023. Readings, workshops, and panels will be virtual via Zoom for conference registrants, and the keynote address will be free and open to the public. Registration is $25 for members and non-members alike.

Kristen Renee Miller, poet and current editor of Sarabande Books, will deliver the keynote address at 7 p.m. ET, Saturday, October 28, at St. Michael the Archangel Episcopal Church, 2025 Bellefonte Drive, Lexington, Kentucky. The public is invited to attend this free event either in person or via livestream.

Winners of the Chaffin/Kash and Grand Prix Adult Poetry Contests and the KSPS Student Poetry Contest will be honored and invited to read at an awards ceremony on Sunday. The prize-winning poems are featured in Pegasus, KSPS’ online literary journal. The student poems appear in the fall issue, which will release during the conference.
