Clemens Fine Arts Center presents Abe Partridge in Concert
Abe Partridge is a multi-dimensional artist. He is a heralded musician, singer/songwriter, visual artist, and podcaster based in Mobile, Alabama. He will perform at the Clemens Fine Arts Center (CFAC) in the Backstage Pass series on March 30 at 7:30 p.m. The CFAC is located on the West Kentucky Community and Technical College campus.
American Songwriter Magazine said, “Abe Partridge has established himself as one of the most respected songwriters and visual folk artists in the southeast.”
He developed a reputation for moving, passionate, and sometimes comedic performances at prestigious songwriter festivals such as 30A Songwriters Festival and Americanafest. He is a regular at the Bluebird Café in Nashville and Eddie’s Attic in Decatur. He has performed on the syndicated radio programs "Mountain Stage" and "Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour".
Abe has toured relentlessly with his music both nationally and internationally. His visual art has been in galleries throughout the U.S. and Europe, and in private collections, including Mike Wolfe (American Pickers) and Tyler Childers. His podcast, "Alabama Astronaut", explores the undocumented music of serpent-handling churches in Appalachia and hit the top ten documentary podcasts on Apple Podcasts within days of its release.
The CFAC's Backstage Pass series connects the audience with artists in an intimate listening room atmosphere. The audience sits on stage for a more up-close, personal experience.
Tickets can be purchased at artsinfocus.org or by calling Julie Moore at 270-534-3215. Tickets are $8 in advance; $10 at the door.
