Kentucky Humanities is celebrating our 50th Anniversary this year. We have been honored to work with Paducah on a large number of projects over the years including bringing Smithsonian traveling exhibits to the Yeiser Art Museum and the River Heritage Museum. We have been fortunate to partner with Paducah Bank and Carson-Myer to bring Kentucky Chautauqua to Jackson Purchase area schools for many years. We have been blessed to have people like David Denton, Bruce Pope, Bobbie Wrinkle, and Mary Hammond serve on our Board of Directors. To show our appreciation for all Paducah has done for us, we are bringing a special event to Paducah on Saturday, September 17 at 10:00 a.m. Recipes from the River will take place at the Paducah Convention & Expo Center.

Four chefs from along the river will share recipes and how the river has influenced their cooking for a free event. Attendees will get to sample the recipes.
