McCracken County Public Library Open House
McCracken County Public Library Open House
The McCracken County Public Library's flooring renovations are complete, but that's only the beginning. On Thursday, March 21st, the Library will host an open house from 3-5pm to show all of the latest public amenities to its first floor. Come celebrate our newest additions including:
- Law Library resources, provided by the McCracken County Bar Association
- New wall displays, courtesy of the Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership
- Local Family History Room, including "Sweet Paducah: A History of the Paducah Candy Industry"
- The newly-outfitted W. David Denton Multi-Media Room, complete with hide-away computer desks, a teaching lectern, and 80-inch TV screen for classes and presentations
Staff will be on hand to tell you about all of the resources offered in the library and online at www.mclib.net. Tour the Local & Family History room's archives, and learn about computer classes, programs, and resources while enjoying light refreshments.
The McCracken County Public Library constantly evolves to meet the needs of our community, and its new additions reflect that endeavor to serve its citizens and meet their needs for a 21st century working and learning environment.
