Adult Block Party @ W.C. Young Community Center

Friday, August 5th, 7:30 pm
• Emancipation Dance & All Male Fashion Strut
Cocktail Hour: 7:30-8:30 pm, Dance: 8:30 pm-midnight
• Fish Fry @ W.C. Young Community Center Parking Lot

Saturday, August 6th
11 am: Emancipation Celebration Parade
Line-up starts at 13th and Broadway at 9 am, ends at Robert Coleman Park. Entry fee $25.
12-9 pm: Park activities, including vendors, reunion tailgates, youth activities, big stage entertainment, Big House Gaines Basketball Clinic

Sunday, August 7th
4 pm: Salute to Gospel @ Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church
1 pm - dusk: Celebration in the Park @ Robert Coleman Park

Monday, August 8th, 8-11 am
Emancipation Breakfast (eat-in or take-out) @ W.C. Young Community Center
