UK KATS Pest Management Workshop
UK KATS Pest Management Workshop
The Kentucky Agricultural Training School, a program of the University of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, will host a hands-on Pest Management Workshop on Aug. 27 at the UK Research and Education Center at Princeton.
Designed for grain producers, crop advisers and industry representatives, the interactive workshop will focus on sprayer calibration, herbicide mode of action identification, corn disease assessment and late-season insect scouting.
Because most of the workshop will be held outdoors in research plots, participants should dress for the weather and field conditions.
Continuing education credits are available for Certified Crop Advisers and pesticide applicators: CCA - 4 CEUs; Pesticide Applicator - 5 CEUs in Cat. 1A, 1 CEU Cat. 10.
