Kentucky State Police have arrested a corrections officer for possession of drugs at a correctional complex in Lyon County.
According to a release, KSP received a call Sunday morning from the West Kentucky Correctional Complex requesting a trooper for an employee believed to have brought drugs into the facility.
Trooper Aaron Acree uncovered a large supply of Suboxone and arrested 49-year-old Danny Ford. Ford was charged with first degree possession and promoting contraband.
He was lodged in Caldwell County Jail.
