A Fort Campbell soldier is dead and a spouse is in custody after a fatal shooting Sunday night.
The U.S. Army base says an investigation is underway after the incident in on-post housing.
The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command and the FBI are investigating.
The names of those involved are being withheld until their families can be notified. The incident prompted a brief lockdown on Sunday.
