A man indicted for a triple murder in Christian County appeared before the Christian Circuit Court on Wednesday.
Circuit Judge John Atkins at the hearing appointed a public defender for Christian Richard Martin. A pre-trial conference has been scheduled for September 18 at 11 a.m.
Martin faces three counts of murder, two counts of burglary, and three counts of tampering with physical evidence. Calvin Phillips, Pamela Phillips and Edward Dansereau were found dead in Pembroke in November 2015.
Martin is being held without bond and could face the death penalty. He was arrested in May at the Louisville International Airport.
