A Murray man charged with assaulting protesters last month pleaded not guilty to the charges against him during his arraignment in Calloway Circuit Court on Tuesday, July 7.

David Frymire allegedly pepper sprayed peaceful demonstrators during a racial justice march through Murray on June 2, and attempted to drive his vehicle into the crowd before being stopped by law enforcement.

Princeton attorney Marc Wells represents Frymire as he faces felony charges of third and fourth degree assault.
