KHEAA Gets Website Overhaul

The Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority has a redesigned website that officials hope will make college planning an easier task. The agency says visitors should be able to find information to enable them to explore careers, prepare for college and go through the process of financial aid.

Staff worked for a year to design, program and decrease the number of pages as well as streamline content and make it more user-friendly. KHEAA promotes college awareness, provides free college planning materials and administers state student aid programs. The revamped website is at KHEAA.ORG.

A roustabout from Memphis, Tennessee, Shelly first found his way into WKMS through the newsroom back in 2011 through luck, charm and force of will. Though he left news for another position, he still enjoys working on independent radio projects and volunteering for the station. He’s an avid disc golfer and occasional real golfer and is terrible at both. A lover of all things musical, Shelly is always ready to hear something new and unique.
