Eastern Kentucky University athletics and Adidas are entering into a multi-year partnership. The Portland Oregon-based firm will be the official athletic brand of the Colonels.
EKU Athletics Director Steve Lochmueller said this is the first department-wide apparel partnership for Eastern athletics.
The new ten year deal calls for Adidas to supply EKU’s 16 varsity athletic teams with footwear, apparel, and accessories and be the equipment provider for the baseball team through the 2027-2028 academic year.
Adidas is the provider for more than 100 collegiate programs including Louisville, Indiana, and Kansas. It has marketing agreements with the National Basketball Association, National Football League, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League, and Major League Soccer.
