A boil water advisory remains in effect for approximately 3,000 North Marshall Water District customers on US Highway 641 North from Terrace Hills to the intersection of Highway 641 North and Highway 68 West.

North Marshall Water Spokeswoman Sherry Musgrave says the warning is in response to a water main break and bacterial samples are being taken for analysis. Musgrave says customers should boil their drinking water at a rapid boil for at least 3 minutes before consumption.

All other uses, like showering are okay. The advisory is in effect until further notice.
