The next Circuit Court Judge in Hopkins County will be chosen from a list of nominees announced Monday by the circuit's judicial nominating commission.
Governor Andy Beshear will choose between attorneys Richard Frymire, Randall Hardesty and Christopher Bryan Oglesby when appointing the new judge.
The judicial nominating commission is activated when a vacancy in a judicial seat occurs. The Hopkins County bench has been vacant since Judge James C. Brantley retired Dec. 31.
