A Kentucky judicial panel has ordered that a judge accused of favoritism, dishonesty and other misconduct be removed from the bench.
The Kentucky Judicial Conduct Commission handed down its ruling Monday in the case of Kenton County Family Court Judge Dawn Gentry. The panel said it found Gentry guilty on 10 of 12 charges against her. The decision follows her suspension from the bench in January and a weeklong misconduct hearing in August.
The ruling says Gentry has 10 days to appeal the decision.
