Datebook: January 8 - Beat Beethoven 5K, Music @ MAC, Senior Learning for Fun

The Paducah Symphony Orchestra hosts the annual Beat Beethoven 5K on Saturday, March 28, at 9 a.m. at Noble Park in Paducah. Anyone who "Beats Beethoven" receives a complimentary ticket to the PSO's season-ending Carmina Burana concert. There’s also a 1-mile youth run. Maiden Alley Cinema presents a live concert of roots and country music this Monday night featuring Jack Grelle and Ryan Koenig with Yellow-Bellied Sapsuckers. Doors open at 6, and the show starts at 7. For more information on events at Maiden Alley, visit maidenalleycinema.org.

West Kentucky Community and Technical College hosts its Senior Learning for Fun program January 27 through May 5. Program topics include learning about strengthening exercises for balance and posture, monarch butterflies and their migration, Paducah's United States Coast Guard Marine Safety Unit, and more.
