Holocaust survivor and author Fred Gross speaks at the Calloway County Public Library Monday night at 6:30. Gross was born in Belgium in 1936. Austin Peay State University professor of music Dr. Patricia Halbeck presents a piano recital titled "A Celebration of Creativity" Monday night at 7:30 in the George and Sharon Mabry Concert Hall at APSU. The Paducah Symphony Orchestra holds the annual Beat Beethoven 5K on Saturday, March 28, at 9 a.m. at Noble Park in Paducah. Anyone who “Beats Beethoven” receives a ticket to the PSO’s season-ending Carmina Burana concert. There’s also a 1-mile youth run.
