Datebook: September 3 - Grand Rivers Arts, Nature's Most Extreme, Soybean Talent Show

The 40th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival at Grand Rivers is this Saturday through Monday at Little Lake Park. The festival features nearly one hundred craft booths and artisans from seven states. Handcrafted items available include floral arrangements, baskets, honey, soaps, furniture, pottery, stained glass, and more. Admission benefits Kentucky’s Western Waterland. 

The Nature Station at Land Between the Lakes offers “Nature’s Most Extreme Weekend” this Saturday through Monday from 10 to 5. Learn about LBL’s biggest, smallest, most venomous, and grossest animals, plus play games, make a craft, participate in a scavenger hunt, and more. Details at landbetweenthelakes.us.

The annual Soybean Talent Show is Monday night at the Big Stage in downtown Martin, TN. The event starts at 5 with competitors ages 12 and under, followed by the Mid-South Preliminary Division at 7. Participants should check in an hour prior to the show. Entry forms are available at tnsoybeanfestival.org.
