Datebook: October 21 - Archaeology Day, Zombie Walk, Angel's Attic Donations

Kincaid Mounds Historic Site in Massac County, Illinois, holds an archaeology field day this Saturday. Programs start at 10, noon, and 2, with ongoing Mississippian artifact displays, information tables, and children’s activities from 10 to 3. All activities are free of charge. More information on Facebook under “Kincaid Mounds Support Organization.” 

The 7th Annual Paducah Zombie Walk this Saturday evening at 5. Participants in the walk dress up as zombies and shamble from 9th and Broadway to Maiden Alley. There’s no charge to participate. Monetary or non-perishable food donations go to Paducah Family Services.

Angel's Attic Thrift Shop seeks donations of clothing, furniture, appliances, household items, and toys. Community donations help Angels Attic Thrift Store fund the Angels Community Clinic, the Gentry House for homeless families, and other local agencies. Bring donations to 972 Chestnut Street Monday through Saturday from 8 to 5.
