jessedonaldson.com

Ebony Clark speaks with Author and Kentucky native Jesse Donaldson about his new book "On Homesickness," featuring passages about all 120 counties in the Commonwealth. Donaldson is on a book tour through the state. He was in the Pennyrile last week and is in the Jackson Purchase on Monday.

Jesse Donaldson speaks about his book, highlights from his tour and discoveries in the "stops in between" the traditional book tour circuit. He recalls growing up in the state of Kentucky where he lived until age 18. Since then, he has lived in many different states and settled in Oregon. Donaldson says as he continued to examine his desire to move back to the Commonwealth, his new book "On Homesickness" was created.

Donaldson says his 120- county book tour has contained some adventurous stops including book readings on bridges, cemeteries, and in the middle of a forest. He even slept in what was once a jail cell in Bardstown. Donaldson's book tour will conclude on November 18 at the Kentucky Book Fair in Lexington.
