Paducah-based novelty ice cream company Dippin' Dots LLC is investing $3.3 million dollars in a new building, new equipment and 28 new full-time jobs.

The company said the expansion next year is an effort to expand its cryogenic freezing technology to service other industries, including plant-based meats.

Dippin Dots said the expansion will help diversify their product offerings.

The company is headquartered in Paducah and employs almost 200 people there.
