The Western Kentucky Pride Festival is officially postponed in an effort to maintain public health. The festival originally scheduled for the last weekend in May will now be held October 9 - 11.

The event will still take place at Carson Park in Paducah. There are still openings for vendors, entertainers, and sponsors that organizers are looking to fill.

Dustin Havens, Director of Operations for the Paducah LGBT Welcome Center, said the center is working diligently on getting support groups and other functions available online

“Our sincerest thoughts and love go out to everyone in the Heartland area, and we are still a message away,”  Havens said.

The Paducah LGBT Welcome Center will remain closed to the public until advised to re-open.  Youth Services are available through the center’s partnership with Centerlink and PFLAG at QChatSpace.org.

More informative announcements about rescheduling of The Western Kentucky Pride Festival can be found on the eventsfacebook page or the Paducah LGBT website
