For three years, she was the local host of Morning Edition on WMUB-FM at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Cheri produced and hosted local talk shows and news stories for the station for nine years. Jeff Williams is the Station Manager / News & Public Affairs Director for WSIU Radio. Jeff has been in broadcast news for more than 20 years. After graduating with a degree in Radio-Television from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, he worked in commercial radio and television news in Illinois, Indiana, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C. before returning to WSIU Radio in 1997, as Morning Edition anchor/reporter. Jeff became News Director in 2001 and assumed Station Manager duties in 2005. Jeff and his wife are the proud soccer parents of two somewhat avid public radio listening teenagers. WSIU is operated by Southern Illinois University Carbondale. It signed on the air in September 1958.

Chris Benderev is a founding producer of and also reports stories for NPR's documentary-style podcast, Embedded. He's driven into coal mines, watched as a town had to shutter its only public school after 100 years in operation, and, recently, he's followed the survivors of a mass shooting for two years to understand what happens after they fade from the news. He's also investigated the pseudoscience behind a national chain of autism treatment facilities. As a producer, he's made stories about ISIS, voting rights and Donald Trump's business history. Earlier in his career, he was a producer at NPR's Weekend Edition, Morning Edition, Hidden Brain and the TED Radio Hour.

Peter Biello is the host of All Things Considered at New Hampshire Public Radio. He has served as a producer/announcer/host of Weekend Edition Saturday at Vermont Public Radio and as a reporter/host of Morning Edition at WHQR in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Renata joined the WVIK News team in March 2014, as the Amy Helpenstell Foundation Fellow. She anchors during Morning Edition and All Things Considered, produces features, and reports on everything from same-sex marriage legislation to unemployment in the Quad Cities.

On WABE, you might hear her reporting about a lesser known part of Atlanta’s history, while another day you might catch a sound portrait she produced about a person or place in the region.
