Princeton & Sturgis Vote to Allow Alcohol Sales

Princeton's wet/dry vote passed, allowing alcoholic drinks to be sold in restaurants, as well as in packages at stores. County Clerk Toni Watson says that business owners must wait 60 days before applying for a license to sell alcohol in Caldwell County.

Sturgis

Union County is a wet county, but portions remain dry. Today's vote was to allow the sale of beer and wine in the dry portions of the county. Precincts 2, 3, and 4 of Sturgis were up for consideration independently, and the results are below. County Clerk Trey Peak expects sales for to begin roughly in 30 days.
