The collapsed downtown Murray building will be demolished following a structural engineer's report.
The building on the corner of Fourth and Main streets collapsed last month. The property owner now awaits authorization from his insurance provider to proceed with building demolition and removal, and expects work to resume by the beginning of next week.
The building collapsed late Feb. 22 with no injuries. Commercial traffic is still being diverted away from the court square.
