WKMS and Kentucky Humanities Present "Think History" Weekday Mornings

Kentucky Humanities
WKMS airs "Think History" weekday mornings at 5:49 and 11:20 am.

WKMS and Kentucky Humanities have partnered to present Think History, a daily segment that travels back in time to relive a moment in Kentucky's history.

From the Kentucky Humanities website:

"Kentucky Humanities is an independent, nonprofit affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities in Washington, D.C. Kentucky Humanities is supported by the National Endowment and by private contributions. The group is not a state agency but is proud to partner with Kentucky's cultural, heritage, arts, and tourism agencies."

WKMS has partnered with Kentucky Humanities to present Think History, a program dedicated to revisiting, analyzing, and celebrating Kentucky's history. From the Father of Shakertown to Virgil Earp, the program takes a deeper look at the people, places, and events that shaped the Commonwealth to what it is today.

Think History airs weekdays at 5:49 and 11:20 am. You can listen online, on-air, or ask your smart speaker to "play WKMS."

Melanie Davis-McAfee graduated from Murray State University in 2018 with a BA in Music Business. She has been working for WKMS as a Music and Operations Assistant since 2017. Melanie hosts the late-night alternative show Alien Lanes, Fridays at 11 pm with co-host Tim Peyton. She also produces Rick Nance's Kitchen Sink and Datebook and writes Sounds Good stories for the web.
