A former Murray State University basketball stand-out has signed an NBA contract after a stint in the Summer League.

The Minnesota Timberwolves said on Monday that Jonathan Stark has signed with the team. Terms of the agreement were not released. Stark made the announcement on his Instagram on Sunday.

Stark played with Minnesota in this year’s NBA Summer League where he averaged eight points over 17 minutes in five games, according to the announcement from the team.

The announcement says, at Murray State, Stark was named the 2018 OVC Player of the Year after averaging 21 points a game in his senior season. He was also named to the OVC First Team in 2017 and 2018 and made an NCAA Tournament appearance.

Stark joins other Racer alumni to enter the NBA in recent years, including Isaiah Canaan and Cameron Payne.
