Former OVC Player of the Year Cameron Payne has signed a two year deal with the Toronto Raptors.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reports the deal will be partially guaranteed in the first season. NBA.com reports Payne is finishing up a stint in the NBA Summer League where he averaged 20 points a game while shooting 51% from the field with the Dallas Mavericks.
Payne was selected 14th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft after receiving the OVC Player of the Year and Male Athlete of the Year honors. He averaged 20 points during his final season at Murray State and was the 13th highest scoring player in the country.
