You're Invited to a "Red Shoe" Party at Shandies!

Thursday, April 2 in Paducah

We're hosting a party for "Lake Wobegon aficionados" before the Garrison Keillor LIVE at The Carson Center show later that night.

We invite all you Guy Noir fans to join us upstairs at Shandies Restaurant at 202 Broadway in Paducah from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m for snacks, live music by The Wheelhouse Rousters and a cash bar with signature drinks like 'Bebop-a-Reebop-arita,' 'Dusty & Left-ini' and 'Red Shoe Rum & Coke.'

Garrison will not be at Shandies in person, but will totally be there in spirit!

A special thanks to Shandies for hosting us!

She's equipped with knowledge and enthusiasm for fundraising and the arts. Matt Markgraf

Matt Markgraf joined the WKMS team as a student in January 2007. He's served in a variety of roles over the years: as News Director March 2016-September 2019 and previously as the New Media & Promotions Coordinator beginning in 2011. Prior to that, he was a graduate and undergraduate assistant. He is currently the host of the international music show Imported on Sunday nights at 10 p.m.

And to further public radio's incredibly important mission to provide free, accessible, fact-based news & information where it's needed most. You can find her grooving to Sounds Good or The Kitchen Sink, delving into the why of everything on Hidden Brain, or generally learning something new from WKMS. She also enjoys Farmers Markets, trivia contests and wonderfully weird local art.
