Join us on-air for a live broadcast from Maiden Alley Cinema’s Oktoberfest Saturday, October 18 from 1 to 5, with performances from Gideon’s Rifle, the Solid Rock'it Boosters, Hooten Hallers, and the Legendary Shack Shakers!

Or get your polka on in person from 11 to 5 in Downtown Paducah. It’s a day of craft beer and live music outside Maiden Alley, with Bavarian food from Kirchhoff's Bakery & Deli, vendors on the Market Square, and a German Car Show on Kentucky Avenue.

Matt Markgraf joined the WKMS team as a student in January 2007. He's served in a variety of roles over the years: as News Director March 2016-September 2019 and previously as the New Media & Promotions Coordinator beginning in 2011. Prior to that, he was a graduate and undergraduate assistant. He is currently the host of the international music show Imported on Sunday nights at 10 p.m.
